Established in 2004, Jagannath Gupta Institute of Engineering & Technology is situated in Sitapura, Jaipur. The college was established to promote academic excellence in the state of Rajasthan. JNIT, Jaipur is affiliated by the Rajasthan Technical University and approved by the National Board of Excellence (NBA) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college was ranked No 1 private Engineering college in the state of Rajasthan by the GHRDC, a premier “Centre for Management Education & Research” survey in 2010. JNIT was also ranked among top 76-128 Engineering colleges(Overall), among top 10 engineering private(NorthZone)  and top 75 among top private engineering colleges by the Week- Hansa Research Survey in 2014.
